Westwood Residences is a new Executive Condominium (ED) project in Singapore. The project is part of the Government Land Sales Programme from 2013. The land for this ED was sold at the end of 2013 to Koh Brothers Group and Heeton Homes Pte Ltd. These buyers purchased a 99-year leasehold on the property. Both of these contracting companies have a long history in Singapore of carrying off new home developments with pinache. The complex takes up about three full city blocks. Located in Jurong West, the land is bordered on one side by Westwood Avenue and on the other side by the Pan Island Expressway (PIE).

Westwood Residences EC Demand

Demand is expected to be heavy for these excellent family homes due to their location and the fact that this is the first ED development built since 1997 in Singapore. The project will include three, four and five room homes. As part of the development, residents will also have the services of a guardhouse, gymnasium, clubhouse, tennis courts, swimming pools and an open play area. There are also garden walkways, close parking and individual mail boxes at a central location. The clubhouse has a party area that can be reserved for the residents to use. Across the street is Clean Tech Park and the new Wood condiminium development.

Westwood Residences near NTU

All of Altura EC the EDs will be in highrises. These highrises will be 12 stories high with a total of 450 residences. These homes will face Jalan Bahar or Jurong West Ave 5. At this time and residence on the 6th floor and above has an unobstructed view of the area around Westwood Residences. Each home comes with at least three rooms and two bathrooms. Some of the four and five room residences are on the lower floors. The kitchen area in modern and will be furnished with appliances with chrome facings. The dining area has a picture window and is large enough to set at least six people or more comfortably. New buyers will have a choice of colors for their counter tops, bathroom counters and other ED highlights. Color choices include green, maroon, greys and golden accents. Floors will be carpeted with tile in the kitchen, dining area and entryways. Several elevators will carry residents to the floor of their homes.

Westwood Residences EC

Westwood Residences is near major highways for easy access into downtown Signapore. The residents are near the PIE which allows residents to reach any location on West Singapore. It will take about 17 minutes to drive to the downtown area. For those that wish to leave the immediate area, taking the Jalan Bahar will link residents to the Kranji Expressway (KJE), which is the link by car to other major locations on the island.

Public transportation is easily reachable from the Westwood Residences ED. The Metro Pioneer Station is only 1.7 km from the ED, which connects to the East West Metro line. Four stations away, it is possible to connect to the North South Metro line. From the stations, there is usually a bus or shuttle that will help residents finish their trip.
